Key West Grilled Chicken

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of Stevia or Walden Farms Syrup
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 Lime Juiced
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves

Directions

  1. In a small bowl combine soy sauce, stevia or Walden Farms Syrup, vegetable oil, lime juice, and garlic.

  2. For Grilled Chicken Breasts: Place chicken breast halves into the mixture, and turn to coat. Cover, and marinate in the refrigerator at least 30 minutes.

    For Chicken Kebabs: cut the chicken into large chunks, skewer onto bamboo sticks that have been soaked in water for 5 minutes, and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  3. Grill on medium high heat for 6 to 8 minutes on each side, until juices run clear. Serve with fresh salad, steamed veggies, or any of your favorite sides. 

  4. For variation, try marinating shrimp, (which will take 2-4 minutes to grill)

  5. For a slightly more zesty version, add a teaspoon of Freshly Chopped cilantro to the marinade.  

    Phase 4 Dieters can substitute honey for WF Syrup or Stevia
